Krieger: Product Brochures |
| About: Krieger is a premiere manufacturer of custom designed sound resistant, bullet and blast resistant, thermal shielding and other highly specialized doors and windows. Goal: The goal of this project was to develop a product brochure that could effectively present the often complex nuances of the Krieger door and window products. The first brochure created in 2002 was designed to be 12 pages and featured product details, test results, design options, information about various services and more. The design and layout had to carefully thought out to ensure the brochure could easily be spotted in a directory that is over 2 inches thick. Bold colored headers and footers were used to help the reader identify all the pages that belong to the brochure—since the brochure is bound inside a hard cover book with other brochures. Technical specification information that the readers are seeking is neatly organized to stand out. And large photographs are utilized to let the readers get a good view of example products. Due to printing and directory insertion costs, the brochure was shortened to just 4 pages in the years that followed. The copy and layout were revised to ensure the crucial information fit in and still remained highly organized and visible.
