About:
Krieger is a premiere manufacturer of custom designed sound resistant, bullet and blast resistant, thermal shielding and other highly specialized doors and windows.
Situation:
Because architects have a misconception that special purpose doors can only be industrial in appearance, Krieger needed to show the highly aesthetic and creative "ideas" that are in fact possible.
The postcards presented here are part of an ongoing quarterly direct mail campaign targeted at showcasing the highly aesthetic and flexible design options available to architects who need special purpose doors.
Each postcard features a custom door or window solution that Krieger completed for a particular project or client. The copy discusses the requirements and obstacles each project presented, and how Krieger tackled them. Photographs are used to show the finished installation, and additional illustrations are used to communicate details not visible in the photographs.
Results:
This particular campaign consistently generates numerous phone calls and is very popular among the architects who receive it. This postcard campaign, in combination with the development of a new website, national advertising, sales strategies, search engine optimization, public relations, trade show attendance and other marketing initiatives completed for the client, have doubled the client's annual gross revenue from $4.5 million to nearly $9 million—over a period of 5 years.
