| About: Houseplans.com is the web's largest retailer of stock house plans and provider of various resources and services for home owners, builders and contractors. Goal: The goal of this project was to develop a website that would make it easy to navigate the 26,000+ house plans available on the site, as well as coherently present the complex components of the products and services being offered. The home page was designed with various search methods including product categories and a very detailed search criteria selection tool. A tab navigation system was utilized to break down the complex details and options for each product, as well as to up sell additional services relevant to each house plan. Additional personalization techniques were added that enabled users to save their favorite plans, sign up for various newsletters, and manage their accounts.
